Obituary of Barbara M. Melville

Barbara M. Melville, age 76 of Annandale, NJ, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Caroline McAdam. Barbara lived in Spotswood, NJ for 31 years before moving to Annandale 17 years ago. She was the Director of the Before and Aftercare Programs at the Patrick McGaheran School in Clinton Twp. She was a former communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Spotswood and currently a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale. Barbara was a woman of deep faith and had a tremendous amount of love for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John J. Melville, her son, Sean Melville and his wife, Joanne of Franklin, MA, and her daughter, Tara Sible and her husband, Vance of Clinton. She is also survived by her 5 sisters, and her 6 precious grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 30th at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Annandale. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 29th from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Hwy. 28, Whitehouse. Entombment will be in the Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
