Obituary of William Hagicostas

William Hagicostas, age 48 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Monday, January 27, 2014. Born in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Michael Hagicostas and Susan Hagicostas of Queens, NY. Bill lived in Staten Island for 16 years before moving to Whitehouse Station 5 years ago. He was a Sergeant in the NYC Police Dept, in the Traffic Control Division. He worked for 21 years before his retirement in 2008. Besides his mother, Bill is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mari Ellen, his son, William Matthew and daughter, Amanda Marie both at home. He is also survived by his twin brother, Walter and his brother, Michael. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Entombment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Annandale.
