Obituary of Jacqueline Elizabeth Besch

Jacqueline Elizabeth Besch, age 90 of Clinton Twp, NJ, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Grace Schauer, Jr. Jackie lived in Clinton Twp. since 1945. She received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and English at the University of Pittsburgh and went on to receive her Master's degree in Education Administration from Rider University. Jackie was a teacher at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women; an Administrator at the New Jersey Neuropsychiatric Institute in Princeton and retired from the Mountainview Youth Correctional Facility as a social worker. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale. She had a contagious faith and prayed for others in need. She felt great peace in knowing her Lord. Jackie was predeceased by her husband, Richard W. and her daughter, Kathleen Besch. She is survived by her four loving children, Leah Hoskyns of Boca Raton, FL, Paula McSweeney of Dover, DE, James Besch of Clinton Twp., and Therese Flynn of Clinton Twp. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Scott, Greg, Amy, Jackie, John, Abby, and Maddy. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ.
