Obituary of Cyrus J Lange

Cyrus J Lange, age 65 of Whitehouse Station, NJ died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Morristown Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, he was the son of the late Henry and Rosemarie Lange. Cy had been a resident of Whitehouse Station for over 40 years. He was an Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and operator of Langco General Contracting for many years. He later worked as a pipe fitter for the Steam Fitters Local Union 475 in Warren. Cy loved to shared his knowledge and was a coach for Flemington Elks Wrestling and Readington Baseball. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. He was a master in his building trade. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, working outdoors, and traveling. He was predeceased by his brother, Henry G. Lange Jr. and his sister, Frances Novak. Cy is survived by his loving wife, Terri; his two sons, Jeff Lange and his wife, Cindy of Martinsville and Eric Lange and his wife, Theresa of Bridgewater; his brother, Edward Lange of Rio Grande, NJ; his sister, Diana Borum of Wilkes Barre, PA; his two brothers-in-law, Henry Borsuk and John Borsuk; his sisters-in-laws, Shirley Lange, Krystyna Brandecker, Sharon Lange, Cathy Borsuk and Tekla Borsuk; his four grandchildren, Taryn, Justin, Brandyn and Austin and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, April 23 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, April 24 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Entombment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Annandale.
