Obituary of Albert Stolarick
Albert Stolarick, age 92 of Readington Township died Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Hunterdon Medical Center with his family by his side.
Born in Larksville, PA, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary Stolarick. He was a resident of Somerville from 1961 until 1972, and then resided in Lebanon from 1972 until 1984 before moving to Newark, Delaware for 23 years. He returned to NJ in 2007 living in Annandale and Whitehouse Station.
Albert was a Motor Machinist Mate Third Class in the United States Navy, proudly serving our Country during WWII. He had been a TV Technician for MacArthurs in Somerville before his retirement in 1984.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 284. He was an active member of both Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale and Saint John Holy Angels Chapel Church in Newark, Delaware. He served as a sponsor and coordinator for the RCIA program and also as a Eucharistic Minister. Albert was an avid gardener and he loved reading about history, especially about WWII.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marie in 2010.
He is survived by his son, Michael and his wife Arlene of Haddonfield NJ; his son, Roger and his wife, Amy of Flemington; his three daughters, Roberta Olsen and her husband, Brent of Orange, CA; Rebecca Madajewski and her husband, Michael of Hellertown, PA and Ramona Lloyd of Whitehouse Station; his three brothers, George of Dallas, PA, Stephen of Buckingham, PA and John of Las Vegas; his eight grandchildren, Joseph Stolarick, Amy Stolarick, Erin Schaffer, Brian Stolarick, Jasmine Lloyd and Nicholas, Angela, and Mike Madajewski. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, Alexandra, Veronica, Christina, Anna, Lena and Stella.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.
Entombment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Annandale.
