My cousin Frances was a bright spirit, kind and generous. She was even tempered and wouldn't let anything get her down. I remember her many visits to Brooklyn. She would always bring us something from her farm. Also she was a good cook and baker, and fed us well when we came to visit. She was the maid of honor for my mother, her Aunt Frances, in 1937, so she knew me all of my life. I enjoyed the many family stories that we would share and the walks we took in the old Downtown New York neighborhood where the Laga and Stasa families used to live. I will miss her and remember her fondly.

We will miss seeing Frances at Little Brook. She was always so sweet and had a smile that could light up the room.
We are thankful for the friendship between Frances and John's mother Sue. They spent several years as table mates and were a comfort to each other. We will remember Frances as a quiet lady of grace. She will be in our prayers.
