Obituary of Dominick Lentine
Dominick Lentine, age 87 of Whitehouse, NJ died at his home on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 with his family by his side.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of the late Vincent and Philomena Lentine.
Dominick was a Veteran of the Merchant Marines and United States Army.
Previously from Rahway, he had lived in Whitehouse for over 46 years.
He was the owner of Lentine Sheet Metal in Linden before his retirement.
Dominick was a member of the Readington Lions Club where he had served as Treasurer and the Creslin Brothers Club. He was a retired member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 22. Dominick enjoyed golfing and being in the outdoors; he was an avid gardener and more recently developed a love of reading, especially biographies.
Dominick was predeceased by his wife, Pat Lentine in 2011.
He is survived by his two sons, John and his wife, Joan of Milford; and Joseph and his wife, Sharon of Hampton; his daughter, Stacy Jones and her husband, Ken of Pittstown; his brother, Anthony of Whippany and his sister, Frances Lentine of Elizabeth. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, Mathieu, Joshua, John and Andrew Lentine, Lauren and Becky Jones, and Dominick, Michael and Joseph Lentine, and two great grandchildren, Logan and Sierra Lentine.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, May 16 2014 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station, NJ.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 15 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888
