Obituary of Betty Jane Holley

Betty Jane Holley, age 84 of Branchburg, NJ, died Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, after a brief illness. Born in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Kathryn Ryan. She previously lived in Whitehouse before moving to Branchburg 45 years ago. Betty worked for many years as a relator for the Franchino Agency in Raritan and Coldwell Bankers in Bedminster, retiring at the age of 76. She was proud to be part of their Million Dollar Sales Club. She was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Bridgewater. Betty was a devout catholic who truly lived her faith; love was evident in all she did. She had a positive effect on many people. Above all else, Betty loved her family; she cherished her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Samuel; her son, James W. Holley of Massachusetts; her daughter, Connie Wilson of Clinton; her brother, Robert J Ryan of Albany NY; her five grandchildren, Lisa Holley, Jimmy Holley, Faith Osborne, Ryan Holley, and Kelley Holley. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Emily Holley and Zachary, Collin, Kamryn and Samantha Holley. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Bernard's Church in Bridgewater. Friends and relatives may visit with the family on Wednesday, prior to the funeral service at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse, NJ 08888 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. Entombment will be at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bernard's Church, 500 Rt. 22, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
