Obituary of Casey Spilatro

Casey Spilatro, age 39 of Kingwood Twp., NJ, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at home. He was born in Somerville, NJ, on October 9, 1974 and lived in Hunterdon County all of his life. Casey was the owner of the Pelican Pool & Ski Store in Langhorne, PA for seven years. The most important thing in Casey's life was his family. Most importantly his Daughter, Kelsie and his dog Dozer. He will be greatly missed by all of them. He loved to ski and snowboard and spending time at Lake Wesserunsett in Maine. He especially loved his vacations to Barbados. Casey lived life to the fullest, always with a smile on his face and a friendly word. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Marge Davis and his stepfather, Louis Hornstein. Casey is survived by his daughter, Kelsie and her mother Jennifer Stasyshan of Pittstown; his father, Stephen Spilatro and his wife, Edna of Stanton; his mother, Terry Hornstein of Madison, ME; his sister, Cherie O'Connor and her husband, David of Flemington; his paternal grandparents, Angelo Spilatro and his wife, Kathleen of Tewksbury and Doris Spilatro of Spring Lake; stepbrother, Russell Hornstein and his wife, Fiona of Malta; stepsister, Bianca Sousa of Stanton, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Road, Clinton. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ.
