Obituary of Martha Daniels

Martha Daniels, "Marty", age 86 of Readington Township, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Grace Piccirillo. Previously of Raritan, Marty had lived in Readington since 1980. She was a library assistant at the Somerset County Library until her retirement in 1988. Marty was an active member of the Readington Seniors. She enjoyed the time she spent with her friends from the group. When her mobility became a challenge she appreciated visits from her friends and spending time on her computer. She was predeceased by her first husband, James J. Coughlin in 1979 and her second husband, Emrys Daniels in 2004. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Coughlin and his wife, Cheryl of Topeka, KS and Wayne Coughlin of Penfield, NY and Linda Mattoon. She is also survived by her brother, Peter Piccirillo and his wife, Trudy from Warren, NJ; two grandchildren, James and Abigail Coughlin; and her nephew, Thomas Piccirillo and neice, Laurie Dedering. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Saint Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater. The time of the service will be announced at a later date.
