Obituary of Robert L. Laurent

Robert L. Laurent, age 93 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late August and Louise Laurent. Bob lived in Leonia, NJ, Martinsville, NJ, and Fallbrook, CA, before moving to Whitehouse Station 11 years ago. He served as a radio operator on a B-24 during WWII in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945. He was a designer, for American Standard in Piscataway, NJ for 34 years until his retirement in 1985. Robert is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marie(Noonan) Laurent, his sons, Robert L. Laurent, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen; Jeffrey Laurent and his wife, Diane both of Martinsville, NJ; and his 3 daughters, Maureen Refsnider and her husband, Ron of Coon Rapids, MN, Diane Perry and her husband, William of Jefferson Township, PA, and Michele Amorese and her husband, Michael of Bridgewater, NJ. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Entombment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater.
