Paul and I were very sad to learn of John's passing. He meant different things to each of us. To me, he was one of the first Kiwanians outside our club that I met, as he visited our club about his IDD work. To Paul, he was also a fellow Kiwanian of many years and shared projects. He was an important friend to us and our club. We were snowed in the day of the memorial service, or we would have been there. John definitely left the world a better place for his passage through it. His dedication to the children of the world, particularly Tuva, brought help and comfort to many children who could not help themselves.
