Obituary of Joan Kokosinski
Joan Kokosinski, 85, died Saturday December 29, 2012.
She was born in Jersey City prior to moving to Whitehouse Station where she resided for almost 50 years. She moved to Limerick, PA 16 years ago.
Mrs.Kokosinski was a telephone operator for United Telephone Co. before becoming a full time homemaker.
She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Church in Limerick, PA. She was a member of the Polish American Citizens Club in Whitehouse Station and she worked for the Hunterdon County Board of Elections for eight years.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward Kokosinski and her identical twin sister Dolores Kolodzinski.
She was the devoted mother of two daughters, Gail (David) Pifer and Lynn (David) Perlin and loving Nana to two granddaughters, Allison Pifer and Mallory Perlin and aunt to Alan Kolodzinski.
A mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Whitehouse Station. Visitation is from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Kearns Funeral Home 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, 390 County Road 523, Whitehouse Station, NJ 08889
