Obituary of Vera Semhon
Vera Stoyonovich Semhon passed away from illness at home in the early morning hours of January 4, 2013. She was 80 years old, and a resident of Whitehouse Station.
Vera was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Panta and Amelia Stoyonovich.
After high school she left Indianapolis to follow a lifelong passion for the travel industry in New York City. After marrying she had two beloved children and eventually settled in New Jersey.
Vera was a devoted mother, a voracious reader, a generous spirit, and had an uncanny flair for home decoration.
She is survived by her children, Paul and Roxane, and her granddaughter Gwen. She will be lovingly remembered by them and countless family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 from 7:30 - 9:00 PM at the Rockaway Reformed Church, 115 Main Street, Whitehouse Station.
