I'm so sorry to read of your loss. Cathy was one of the original speech therapists in our County SLP group. She was always smiling, happy and professional at our meetings.

Cathy was the speech therapist for my son Russ all through Conley school. She was wonderful to and with him and he showed remarkable progress. Our heartfelt sympaty to all of the family on her loss. She will be hard to replace.

I only knew Cathy for a couple of years before my life took me in a different direction; but knowing her only briefly made a lifelong impact on me. She was the first person to greet me as I entered Conley School...a new, young, clueless Kindergarten teacher-to be. Her warmth, her smile, her understanding , and her laughter made a world of difference for me. Sometimes it was the pat on the back that I desperately needed; sometimes it was the little scowl that reminded me to stand up straight and do what I needed to do.
I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman. She made this world a better place and I know she is continuing her job in her new home.

To The Yoskowitz Family, I send my sincere condolences. I've heard much about your family the last few weeks from Catherine's brother Tom whom I've been working with on Wicked. He spoke so highly of Catherine that I sometimes felt I knew her myself. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

To all my cousins in the McGowan family and the Yoskowitz family. I was very saddened that Cathy was cheated of a long life and a painless pass into the next one. She will be sorely missed at all the future family gatherings for sure. If I remember anything about her, it would be her laugh and sense of humor. I won't be able to make it today/tomorrow, but I am grateful to have been up to see her and to say good-bye with my mother this past weekend. I will keep you all in my thoughts today and tomorrow and beyond.
Love,
Kathleen

Dear Yoskowitz and McCowan Families,
My thoughts are with you all of you at this time.
Cathy and I were classmates from 1st grade through 12th. We reconnected when I established the St. Roes Grammar School Class of '68 Group on FB. We shared personal correspondence over the past 18/24 months and as a true gift, I was able to visit with her at the intimate grammar school reunion this summer as well as our 40th HS reunion. I say all this just to let you know that Cathy was special to me as she was to so many. Our years in school together created a lasting bond. Cathy will always be with me in spirit.
Love and peace to each of you.

I will always remember "Mrs. Y". I am now 34 and was a student in the Bethlehem Twp. school district many years ago. I recall the joy that Mrs. Y shared with all the students about her daughter, Molly. She really left an impression on me...even after all these years. She was so kind. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to her family.

To the family, I can't imagine the sadness you must be feeling from the loss of your dear loved one, Catherine. May you lean on God for support. In his word the Bible, we can find comfort. Psalm 34:18 says "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves"

I will remember Cathy always: a smiling, happy, young girl mastering that stupid jingle jump; riding bikes, exploring the woods, and the fabulous summer parties. Boo St. Rose! Then the big move to college - I remember everyone packing the car for the big send-off. It was so exciting!
Her laugh - so much like her mother - will stay in my mind. She was one of the older kids, and we were in awe.
My heart goes out to Molly and Bob, and all the McGowans, all of Cathy's friends and family. We will all miss her. May she be at peace, and may you all have wonderful memories to keep.
Love,
Leslie

Cathy was a colleague of mine in Bethlehem Township; however, she was more than that. She was always generous to me - rides to work, lending me her vehicle, helping me at my house after a flood, making me laugh when I needed it. I am so sorry she had to leave all of you so soon. Please know how much she was respected and cherished by her community here.

Where do I start?...there were many times we didn't speak for months caught up in our busy lives, but I knew one phone call, or summer trip to the beach would catch us up. I will visit often Cathy in my memories...sleeping outside in McCormick's tent, bike rides through the neighborhood, the end of the summer parties,...never forgotten.
Rest in peace my old and dear friend,
Love,
Laura
