Obituary of Francis Charles Michael Carine

Francis Charles Michael Carine January 29, 1939 ~ February 21, 2013 Frank Carine passed away on the morning of Thursday February 21, 2013 at his home in Readington. He was 74 years old. Frank was born and raised in Elizabeth New Jersey where he attended Elizabeth High School and played football. Following high school he joined the United States Marine Corps in 1956. A proud Marine, Frank served for six years until he was honorably discharged in 1962. Frank was a longtime employee of Westfield Sheet Metal Works where he worked as a welder and was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 22 in Kenilworth. Frank owned several horses over the years and had a love of the outdoors and the Green Bay Packers. He was an avid Harley Davidson owner regularly riding the roads of Hunterdon County, especially those near Round Valley Reservoir. If there was ever anything that needed to be fixed, Frank was ready to lend a hand. He will be missed. Frank is survived by his mother, Agnes Zaremba and sister, Theresa Lynch of North Carolina, brother, William Carine of South Carolina and his five children: Michael Carine of Candler, North Carolina; Frank Carine of Brooksville, Florida; Lynn Jones of Lehigh Acres, Florida; Marie Monsky and Eugene Welland. Private services are being handled by the Kerans Funeral Home, 103 Old Hwy., 28, Whitehouse.
