Obituary of Elizabeth Poltricitsky

Elizabeth (Betty) Poltricitsky, age 89 of Flemington, NJ, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Independence Manor in Flemington. Betty was born in Newark, NJ, on June 24, 1926; she was the daughter of the late Bruno and Stefania Mazin. Betty and her late husband, Abe, along with a friend co-founded the R.A.D. Corporation in South Plainfield. After selling the company after 35 years, they moved to the Flemington area. Betty was a devout Catholic and while living in South Plainfield she belonged to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and the Rosary Altar Society. She then became a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. She is survived by her son, Mark Poltricitsky of Flemington and her two daughters, Pamela Sopkiw of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Sandra Straz of Readington. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. Betty will be buried with her husband, Abe in Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield.
