Obituary of Frank T Galka

Frank T. Galka, age 95 of Oldwick, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Care One at Madison Avenue in Morristown, NJ. Born in South Plainfield, NJ, he was the son of the late John and Catherine Galka. Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was wounded in action in Italy on November 31, 1944. He was the recipient of the European African Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon with two Bronze Stars, and a Purple Heart. Frank is survived by his wife, Margaret. A funeral liturgy will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be held in Rural Hill Cemetery in Whitehouse.
