Obituary of Elizabeth C Vanderschans

Elizabeth C. Vanderschans, age 92 of Lopatcong, NJ, died Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Care Center at Brakeley Park in Phillipsburg, NJ. Born in Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Robinson. Elizabeth had resided in Whitehouse for many years then moved to FL and then TN before moving back to NJ in 2006. During her time living in Whitehouse, Elizabeth was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. She loved to play golf and played consistently with a group of lady friends when she lived in FL. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and was very talented at crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, George in 1979 and her two brothers, John and Harry Robinson. She is survived by her son, Robert and his wife Connie of Idaho, her daughter, Joan Pearson of Lopatcong, her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Robinson of TN, six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse, NJ 08888. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Rural Hill Cemetery in Whitehouse.
