Obituary of Beverly Burke

Beverly Marie Burke, age 88 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Monday, August 10, 2015 at her home in the Mirota Senior Residence where she had resided for the past eight years. Born in Elizabeth NJ, she was the daughter of the late Terrence and Florence Quinn. Before making Whitehouse Station her home, Beverly resided in Elizabeth where she had belonged to the Rosary Altar Society of St. Genevieve’s Roman Catholic Church. She loved to play the piano and enjoyed baking and playing cards; she was particularly fond of the game rummy 500. Spending time with family, her children and grandchildren brought her the most joy. Beverly was predeceased by her husband, Michael in 1976. She is survived by her four children, Beverly Lynch and her husband, Willie of Whitehouse Station, Michael and his wife, Kathleen of Rahway, Terrance and his wife, Marcela of Whitehouse Station, and Edmund Burke of Elizabeth. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, Liam Lynch, Mary Beth Lynch, Katie Lynch, Brian Lynch, Michael Burke, Noreen Clark, Mary Kate Burke, Marcela Burke and Paula Burke as well as four great grandchildren, Liam, Maddie, Lily and Grace. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
