Obituary of Anthony Giunta

Anthony Giunta, age 80 of Clinton, NJ, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary Giunta. A longtime resident of Union Township, he moved to Clinton 13 years ago. He worked for many years for Union Township as a Municipality Road Foreman, retiring in 1998. Anthony was a member of the Warren County Rod and Gun Club. He spent many enjoyable hours fishing, hunting, woodworking and taking trips to the Casino. He loved his home and time spent with his family and was a devoted and loving grandfather. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathleen Connolly in 2002. Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Gail; his son, Michael and his wife, Maryann of Clinton Twp.; his brother, Joseph Giunta and his wife, Alice of Branchville, NJ; his sister, Caroline Bufalo of Springfield, NJ and his two grandchildren, Brian and Amanda Giunta. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org
