Obituary of Judith P. Caporelli
Judith Paulette Caporelli, age 71, of Readington Twp., NJ, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Appomattox, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eras (Poe) Paulette.
Judy attended Westhampton College of the University of Richmond and Old Dominion University earning a BA Degree in History and Government. She taught high school History and Government, worked as a Social Worker in Essex County, NJ and was a licensed Real Estate Broker. She retired in 2009 from AIG/Hartford Steam Boiler Company where she worked as an Engineering Assistant.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station, a member of the Whitehouse Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and was a member of the Hunterdon County watercolor Society.
Family was paramount to Judy, a great cook she enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Judy also enjoyed painting and maintaining a beautiful flower garden, and tracing family genealogy.
Besides her parents, Judy was predeceased by her siblings, Ernest Martin Paulette, Lorraine Burleigh, John Thomas Paulette, Brenda Saunders, and Sherry Marquez.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Frank J. Caporelli and her two sons, Steven Joseph Caporelli of San Francisco CA, and Darren Thomas Caporelli of Stockton, NJ. She is also survived by her siblings, Ellen Jamerson and husband, Bill of Appomattox, VA; Joyce Therot and husband, Tom of Mt. Joliette, TN; Carolyn Paulette of Richmond, VA; David Paulette and wife, Sarah of Richmond, VA; Robert Paulette and wife, Nancy of Richmond, VA; sister in law, Yvonne Paulette of Appomattox, VA; brother in law, Joseph Marquez of Richmond, VA and many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
Burial will be held on Saturday in St. Mary’s Assumption Cemetery, Montdale, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite Charity or Church.
