Obituary of Deborah Usher McKenna

Deborah Usher McKenna, age 59 of Whitehouse, NJ, died Friday, January 1, 2016 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ginny Usher. Debbie lived in New Brunswick before moving to Whitehouse 33 years ago. She was a Special Education Chemistry teacher at Hunterdon Central Regional High School for the last 9 years. Prior to working at the School, Debbie worked at Our Lady of Lourdes Church as the Youth Group Coordinator. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Lourdes Players. She was a former Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader and volunteered for the Readington Recreation ski club. She was also the co-advisor for the Peer Leadership Club that sponsored the Relay For Life at Hunterdon Central. Debbie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Peter and her four children, Sean, Kyle, Conor and Melissa. She is also survived by her two brothers, Louis and Michael Usher. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 390 Route 523, Whitehouse Station, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM at the church. Entombment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Clinton.
