I worked for UAL from 1959 to 1993 in aircraft maintenance , so it seems like I knew Gene forever .He was a good friend and we often worked in the same crew . There was a never-ending teasing back and forth about our military service . Gene served in the Marine Corps ; I in naval aviation .
While I am sorry to hear of his passing I am also happy to see he was supported by such a great loving family . He deserved the best . That photo video helps to firm that knowledge .

we just learned of your father's passing on sunday and are sorry for your loss. I worked with gene at united airlines in Newark for many years, before and after he transferred to Denver and then came back to Newark.. he was a very hard worker and dedicated to getting the job done correctly. my wife, Trudy, was a ual flight attendant and always enjoyed talking and laughing with him.
he was from the old school where you gave your best.

We were so sorry to learn of your Father's death. Loss is always a painful experience, but most painful when the loss is a parent who has been our lifelong mooring.
