Obituary of Rosemary Adamec

Rosemary Adamec, age 86 of Piscataway, NJ, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine Dugan. She was raised in Wilkes-Barre, PA and had lived in Lakewood, Rahway, Kenilworth and Elizabeth, and Piscataway before moving to Bridgewater recently. Rosemary worked for Schering-Plough in Union, N.J. for many years before retiring and she had been a volunteer at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. Rosemary’s greatest joy was her family. She was the loving mother of Joanne Wanca, Marlene Newell, John Adamec, and his partner, Sandi Meko, and Janet Poveromo and husband, Richard. She was the cherished grandmother of Laura Newell and her partner Tommy Sloniewski, Daniel Wanca, Jeff Adamec and his wife, Kathy, Amanda Adamec, and Rich and Jessica Poveromo. She was also the loving great grandmother of Cru Sloniewski and Parker Adamec. She is also survived by her dear sister, Susan Dugan. Friends may gather with the family on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 11:00 to 12:30 PM. A service will immediately follow the gathering at 12:30.
