Obituary of Dorothy G Crane

Dorothy G. Crane, age 98 of Denville, NJ, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. She was the daughter of the late John and Viola Gulick and was born and grew up in Oldwick, NJ. She was a graduate of Trenton State Teachers College, now the College of New Jersey. A member of the Morristown Presbyterian Church, she was active in the Library, Circle 6 and the Current News Club. She was a member of The Morristown Women’s Club and a volunteer at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She loved her family, the great outdoors, the Jersey Shore, antiques, gardening, travel and cross word puzzles. Before moving to Franciscan Oaks she resided in Convent Station for almost 50 years. Her beloved husband, David and beloved son David Jr. predeceased her. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela and her husband, Tony Schwarz of La Canada, CA, Debby and her husband, Fred Bachand, of Troy, NY, and her son, Don. She is also survived by her two grandsons, Terry and Andrew Schwarz, a great grandson, Edison and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
