I had the great privilege of working with Dolores many years ago as a brand new special education teacher. I always appreciated her professionalism, kindness, and patience. Her work has helped countless children find their way. My sincere condolences.
Delores was a longtime friend. Len and I used to meet Delories and Herb for breakfast
several times a year at the Spinning Wheel. After Len died, Herb and Delores kept
this habit up. Delores was a very special friend She will be missed..
We are so sad at the passing of our dear friend Delores. She and Herb have been a fixture at the Peters family home for more than 50 years. That is a beautiful picture of her, taken in our house around one of the many fires in that fireplace. She had such a quick wit, a lively smile, and a love for reading and for Jameson's.
