Obituary of Mary E. Tarangul

Mary E. Tarangul, age 77 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Thursday, July 21, 2016 at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth O'Flynn. Mary lived in Staten Island before moving to Whitehouse Station 42 years ago. Mary was first employed at the Smith Kline and French Laboratories in Philadelphia, PA. She then worked for Foodtown Supermarket in Whitehouse Station before retiring from the Stop & Shop in Raritan. A gentle soul, Mary enjoyed her life at home and in the garden. She loved her family fiercely and will be deeply missed. Mary is survived by her husband of 53 years, Eugene Tarangul, her loving children, Gene of Frenchtown, Anthony of Morristown and Sharon Christianson of Chapel Hill, NC. She is also survived by her 4 precious grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse.
