Obituary of George Schultz

George Schultz, age 92 of Whitehouse Station, died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 26, 2016, surrounded by his family. Born in Manhattan, he was the son of the late Thomas and Lillian Bradley. George was a lifelong resident of Readington Twp. He served his country honorably in the Navy during WWII where obtained his trade as a precision machinist. He was a member of the Whitehouse American Legion Post 284. He was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed going to the race track. His ability to tell a great joke will always be remembered by his Sunday night poker buddies. George was predeceased by his wife, Lois in 1989. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Linda Brown and her husband, Mike and Robin Dillon of Whitehouse Station; his three grandchildren, Kristin Castellanos and her husband, Julio, Matthew Dillon and his wife, Jennifer, Jana Brown as well as three great grandchildren, Julian, Adeline and Julio Castellanos. George will be tremendously missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him especially his beloved dog, Cali. Funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Kearns Funeral Home, Whitehouse. The family has requested donations be made to the Whitehouse Rescue Squad, PO Box 175, Whitehouse Station, NJ 08889.
