Being a member of the DAR, as are my daughters and mother,Cecilia Bell(who passed on 7/6/13) we have very fond memories of Phyliss. She was a wonderful lady who my mom cared about very much and Phyliss always was there to help anyone in need. DAR won't be the same without her. She will be sadly missed. Sorry for your loss.

A wonderful woman who lived a remarkable life. She was a huge part of my growing-up years, and I'll always treasure the times spent hanging out with Jette and Sandy at the Inn, under her watchful eye. My deepest sympathies to her entire family.

I did not have the pleasure of ever meeting Mrs. Black, but I feel like I knew her from the stories her grand-daughter Sarah shared with me. Sarah adored her Grandmother as I am sure the entire family did. My thoughts are with you all during this sad time. Cherish the memories as she will always be in your hearts.
