Obituary of Paul E. Sutt

Paul E. Sutt, age 90 of Readington Twp., NJ, died Monday, May 15, 2017 at home.
Born in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Anna Sutt.  Paul had lived in Plainfield before moving to Readington Twp. in 1968.  He served his Country in the US Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was the owner of Sutt & Company Inc., a family-owned real estate developer in New Jersey and St. Thomas USVI that he ran with his wife and son.

Paul was a communicant and usher at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station, NJ and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6930.  Paul was a multi pilot and flying was a great passion of his.  He was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.  The Sutt family spent a great deal of time at their former home, Villa Clara Marie on the island of St. Thomas, USVI.  The acclaimed home was designed and constructed by Paul.  He was an amazing and talented man, who found success in everything he attempted, yet he remained humble and always devoted his time to help others. 

Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clara (Bee) Sutt who died in 2006.

He is survived by his son, Paul E. Sutt, Jr. of Easton, PA, his brother, James Sutt and sister, Loretta Sefcik both of Johnstown, mother-in-law, Bonnie Sikora of South Fork, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.  Paul will be missed by all those who were blessed to know him.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.

Entombment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Annandale.
