Obituary of Lorraine Krizenawski
Lorraine V. Krizenawski, age 82 of Whitehouse Station, died at her home on Monday, June 5, 2017 surrounded by those who loved her.
Born in Bayonne, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Laura Karecki.
Lorraine moved from Bayonne to Whitehouse Station in 1964.
She worked for many years as an office manager and bookkeeper for Lambert Furniture Co. in Trenton.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and was a member and past president of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a member and past president of the Readington Seniors as well as their Municipal Coordinator, and a member and past treasurer of the Polish American Citizens Club. Lorraine enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. She loved cooking and baking and spent many hours cooking for the Polish American Club.
Along with her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by her brother, Phil Karecki.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, George, her son, George P. of Bozeman, MT, and her daughter, Lauren Krizenawski of Fayetteville, GA.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, June 10 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.
Entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater.
