Obituary of Shawn A Dropp

Shawn A. Dropp, age 24 of Clinton Township, NJ, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, after losing his ongoing battle with addiction.

Shawn was born in Morristown, NJ, he was a resident of Hunterdon County his entire life.

Shawn was a gentle soul and he touched the life of every person he met.  He had a great sense of humor and was known to make people laugh.  Shawn had a love for animals.  He loved to play basketball, skateboard and ride his bike in his younger years. For the past five years Shawn struggled with an addiction to heroin. He went to countless detox and rehabs centers and tried to take the steps to change the course of his life but ultimately the “enemy” outsmarts even the strongest willed individuals; as it did to our Shawn.

Shawn is survived by his loving mother, Tanya Hudson and her husband, Michael of Readington Township; his brother, Dylan and his two sisters, Madalyn and Skylar Hudson; his beloved maternal grandparents, Charley & Rejeanne Dropp of Lebanon Borough, and his much-loved Aunt Danielle and Uncle Jamie.  Shawn also leaves behind his cousins and many extended family members and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ
