Obituary of Jack MacQueen
Jack MacQueen, age 86 of Pottersville, NJ, died peacefully at home on Monday, October 7, 2013.
Born in Wellington, OH, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Agnes MacQueen.
Jack was a veteran serving honorably in the US Navy from 1945 to 1946.
He was employed by JCP&L and worked his way up to a supervisor in the Morristown District.
He ran the Jockey Hollow Gun Club in Pottersville, NJ. In addition, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, raising pheasants and providing natural resources for wildlife preservation.
He was predeceased by his brother, Stanley MacQueen and daughter Patty MacQueen.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemary; his two sons, Bill MacQueen of Harmony and Gary MacQueen and his wife, Janet of Lebanon Twp.; his daughter, Cheri MacQueen of Pottersville and three grandchildren, Andrea, Brian and Sara MacQueen.
A memorial service will be held on October 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Fairmount Presbyterian Church, 247 Old Turnpike Road, Califon, NJ.
Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery followed by a reception at the Oldwick Firehouse.
