Obituary of Robert Heymer

Robert E. Heymer, age 84 of Princeton, NJ, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at Foothill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles and Harriet Heymer. Bob had resided in Piscataway, Marshall's Creek, PA, Pensacola, FL and then Whitehouse before moving to Princeton a year ago. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He loved Jazz music and was a sports car enthusiast who enjoyed going to car shows. Bob had a tremendous love of animals. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan; his four daughters, Janet Chervenyak and her husband, Joseph of Piscataway, Patrice Wessel and her husband David of Whitehouse Station, Nancy Heymer and her friend, Michael Castagna of Bayonne, and Lori Corbo and her husband, Angelo of Lakewood. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Julie Leip, Mia Gnecco, Ian Cullity, Christopher Corchado, Jessica Wessel, and Brianna Corchado as well as beloved great-grandchildren Maci, Louis, and Laila. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888. A service will be held at 4:00 PM.
