Years ago I was blessed with new neighbors who moved in next to me. During the many years that passed, I saw their children grow up and saw two very sweet people work their hearts out in a bakery that gave a sweetness to our community.
George and I had many chats when we'd bump into each other outside usually about politics or gardening or just the chubby groundhog who would visit both our properties. But I'll never forget when George gave us one of his first Hungarian hot peppers from his garden. Knowing George's politics, I wonder if the other George (George Bush) and he have been passing company with some good talks up there....I hope so.
