Obituary of Gory DeChellis

Gory DeChellis Jr, age 71 of Whitehouse Station died on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Born in Milford, Massachusetts he was the son of the late Gory and Lucy DeChellis. Having resided in Fanwood, he settled in Whitehouse Station 35 years ago. He was a Police Sergeant with the Fanwood Police Department for 25 years before retiring in 1990. He then became employed as a courier for Fed Ex. Gory was a veteran of the United States Army. He graduated from Union County College with a Police Science Degree. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Gary in 2005. Gory is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; his son, Dan and his wife Anita of Easton, Pa; his daughter, Nicole Hunt and her husband, David of Whitehouse Station, his brother, Donald of Somerville and six grandchildren, Vivian and Gabriel DeChellis and Page, Gunner, Carter and Billy Hunt. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
