My deepest sympathy to the entire family for your loss. As the days continue to pass, I hope you find comfort and support in the people that surround you and the wonderful memories you carry in your mind and in your heart. May the words of Matthew 5:4 “ Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” bring the entire family comfort and strength. Please accept my sincere condolences.

My dear great Uncle John, it has been a while since I’ve seen you, but I often think about all those wonderful summers when you, Aunt Pat and Sean used to come to Florida. I always remember Uncle John coming down the steps at grandma’s house with his bright white hair, big smile and dressed to play golf. He, Jim, Betty and Uncle Jimmy used to love to get together to go play and get their lesson from Uncle John. Now, my kids are following in his footsteps. He inspired them and I know he will be looking down on them. I only hope they will be as good as you were! May you Rest In Peace. All Our Love, Alan, Lynn, Justin and Jennifer Lilly

We'll miss John at church and at the gym. I'll be there singing on Saturday to send him off the only way I know how to say goodbye. With a song. Condolences, peace and love to Pat and all the extended family.

John was my favorite uncle and I worked for him every summer at the local golf course in Hackettstown for 4 yrs. He and his family lived upstairs. I was the babysitter for my three cousins, the" maid" who cleaned, and the one who cooked the hamburgers on Sat. night while the "Grace Boys" sang at the bar. All that for 50 cents an hr. When John paid me, I always received a few bucks extra. I loved him. When I was 15, he started teaching me golf, bought me a complete set of clubs and bag, took me to the nicest courses around NJ on his day off with his wife and some college kid. I'll never forget him. Everyone liked Uncle John. He was great with all kinds of people. His sister, my mother, Kathryn Grace Seber is the last of the nine children. She is 105 and was doing well until a few months ago. John is probably giving golf lessons to St. Peter as we speak. May he rest in peace. Love, Kathy and Butch Stevens
