I met Chris in the 1960's at District and Regional Chorus in Pennsylvania. Over the years we lost track of one another now and again, but then reconnected when he was at Trinity Church in Easton. Turns out he lived only one block from us.
I joined the Chorale and sang for a decade or so; then he moved to NJ. I rejoined the Chorale in the last ten years or so. Chris had a love for good music that was contagious; I always loved to sing for him. He brought out the best in everyone.
I will miss him, his musical talent, his sense of humor, and just as a good friend and caring person.
