Obituary of Dorothy Giesing

Dorothy Giesing, age 93 of Lakewood, NJ, died Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Atlantic Coast Rehabilitation & Health Care Facility in Lakewood, NJ.

Born in South Amboy, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Margaret (Ryan) Giesing. Dorothy grew up in Fords, NJ and graduated from Woodbridge High School.  She lived in Toms River before moving to Lakewood.

She was a secretary, at the Roosevelt Hospital in Edison for many years before retiring.

Besides her parents, Dorothy was also predeceased by her brother, Arthur “Buddy” and her twin sister, Margaret.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM in Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Kearns Funeral Home, Ltd., Whitehouse.
