Obituary of Thomas Lencsak
Thomas Lencsak, 75, of Easton, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday September 6, 2019.
Born in Clifton, Thomas was a longtime resident of Whitehouse Station, before moving to Easton, PA in 2004. Thomas was the owner/operator of Steve’s Service Center in Whitehouse Station, which he owned and operated for over 40 years.
Thomas was a member of East Whitehouse Fire Department. He loved to travel with his family and had a passion for trains. He especially enjoyed building model train layouts from scratch with his grandchildren, and riding the rails from Stroudsburg to Alaska.
Mr. Lencsak is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Karen, his daughters Tina Catalanotto and husband Kevin of Massapequa, NY, Terry Materna and husband Matthew of Easton, PA, his son Steven and wife Laura of Brooklyn, NY, his six grandchildren, Thomas, Kevin, Emily, Matthew, Ashton, and Liam. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard and Robert Lencsak, and his sister Arlene Clements.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with a memorial service starting at 3:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ.
Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at Rural Hills Cemetery.
