Obituary of Philip T Carlos

Philip T Carlos, age 85, of Whitehouse, NJ passed away on Friday September 13, 2019 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Flemington.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Francesco and Giuseppina Carlos.

Phil had lived in the Bronx before moving to Whitehouse 48 years ago.

He was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station, serving as an usher and a member of the Prayer Group as well as a 4th Degree Knight  in the Knights of Columbus Council 6930.  Phil was extremely social and loved being around people.  In his younger years he enjoyed attending plays and was an enthusiastic bowler.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Rosemary; his two sons, Philip J. of Phillipsburg and Michael of Whitehouse Station; his daughter, Veronica Fodera and her husband, Bob of Lebanon; his sister, Tina Erhler and his two cherished grandchildren, Dakota Carlos and Amanda Chisholm.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station.

Burial will follow at Rural Hill Cemetery in Whitehouse.
