Obituary of John J Prygrocki

John P. Prygrocki, age 87 of Clark, NJ, died Monday, January 6, 2014 at Rahway Hospital in Rahway. Born in 1926 in North Arlington, he was the son of the late William and Pauline Prygrocki. He grew up on the family farm in Lebanon Township and attended high school in High Bridge. He served in the Maritime Service during WWII. John built the family house in Clark in 1951 where he raised his family. He was a Treasury Agent for the Internal Revenue Service for 35 years before retiring in1981. John was always looked to for his sound advice and for his help in family projects. He was skilled in carpentry and mechanics. John was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Fuchillo Prygrocki in 1979 and his son, John in 2000. He is survived by his long-time companion, Louise Lane of Green Brook; his daughter, Ruth Weisman and her husband, Gary of Whitehouse Station; his son, Robert of Clark, his son, William and his wife, Pauline of Lebanon Township; and three grandchildren, Tim, Julie and Samantha. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway Whitehouse, NJ 08888. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
