Obituary of Eleanor E Dembeski
Eleanor Elizabeth Dembeski, age 99, of Whitehouse Station, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2020.
Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1921, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances Pfeiffer. Her husband, Stanley, passed away in 1983
Eleanor had been a resident of Whitehouse Station for 71 years, raising three children there. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station, sang in the choir and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society.
Many know her from her years of working at the Circle Inn/Little Brown Jug in Branchburg. Later on she worked in the ladies department of Laneco, retiring in 1991.
Eleanor grew up with a love for animals, always having a couple of cats and dogs to keep her company. She loved reading, amassing a huge library, listening to music, cooking and traveling. She was happiest when her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren came to visit.
She is survived by her three children, Raymond and his wife Elizabeth of Whitehouse Station, Lawrence and his wife Janet of Three Bridges and Christine and her husband Greg of Neshanic Station. She also leaves behind her six grandchildren, Brandee, Jennifer, Lawrence, Amy, Raymond and Peter, as well as ten great-grandchildren, Hannah, Michael, Abigail, Gabriella, Cassandra, Joseph, Christopher, Matthew, Jake and Tommy.
No services are being held at this time. Burial will be at St Bernard RC Cemetery.
