Obituary of Bhalchandra D Moghe
Bhalchandra D Moghe, 81, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of April 27th 2020 surrounded by his family.
Bhalchandra was born in Belgaum, India to Indira and Dattatraya Moghe on February 21st 1939. He earned his first Masters degree in Pharmacy at UDCT Mumbai. He immigrated to the United States in 1970 to pursue his dreams of a better life for himself and his family. He earned a second Masters degree in Cosmetic Science at Long Island University while building a successful career as a research chemist. He had a distinguished career which stretched more than 45 years, during which he accumulated more than 20 US patents.
He was a generous, kind, and loving father, husband and brother. His personality was larger than life, always beaming, optimistic and positive. He brought countless people together and provided endless support to a large extended family. He loved his whole family deeply and never forgot where he came from. He was incapable of holding a grudge and always saw the best in others. His true legacy is the memories he left in the hearts and minds of the countless lives he touched. For those that knew him, this loss is immeasurable. We will remember his smile, his laugh and his love for life. He will be missed forever. May he now rest in peace.
Bhalchandra is survived by his wife Jyotsna, son Ameya, sisters Mangala and Vijaya, and many cousins.
