I knew “Uncle Jack” for about 35 years, as long as I have known Bill and Rose and Rich. Jack was an Engineer. I say that as a very high compliment. He always knew what to do to fix something or make something better in the best way possible. He would set upon those numerous tasks to help his family however he could. Jack was always available with a helping hand. Like the best of Engineers, he would personally see his projects through to their proper conclusion and much proof of his work remains to be viewed and appreciated.
I also knew Jack as a straight forward, kind, and generous man . He was never at a loss for a detailed story from his past to recite as an example and to pass along his accumulated wisdom.
Jack was a good man and he will definitely be missed.

Dear Rose, Bill and Family
Those of us on Plantation remember "Uncle Jack" fondly. We always knew when he was visiting because you Bill were always cooking those ShopRite london broils "Uncle Jack" liked so much. When the weather was nice, I would see him puttering around your yard doing little handy man projects. My favorite is the wains coating he did in your living and family room--I was so jealous!
He was one of the last of the greatest generation who didnt hesitate to serve his country. He will be missed, so sorry for your loss.
