I am devastated by the news of Gilda's passing. As her pedicurist, Gilda and I spent countless hours together. Our conversations always revolved around her beloved Richard, her incredible sons who made her so very proud, her grandchildren and siblings. We would also talk about our mutual connection to South Plainfield, our faith in God, our mutual beliefs in politics, her love of cooking and baking for her family and of course when it was time to change from her "winter nail polish color to her summer color". Gilda and I shared a special bond and I know that she cared for me as much as I cared for her. She was a beautiful woman both inside and out. A lady of superior class and grace. My world is a better place for having known Gilda. She had endured so much over the last several years and there is some comfort knowing that she is finally reunited with her Richard. My sincerest condolences go out to her sons, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and the rest of her extended family. Gilda may you rest in the sweetest of peace

My deepest condolences go out to the family of Gilda. Gilda and I were friends many, many years ago when she and I lived in Scranton, PA. We met while working together and instantly became good friends. Somehow we lost contact with each other and connected again in New Jersey. I can't tell you how saddened I am to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful mother, sister and friend to all who knew her and, by the way, she made the best pies. Rest in Peace my friend.

Gilda and Richard worked on the polls together with me and we shared many laughs! Gilda and I developed a friendship from working together. She was a lovely lady.
My deepest condolences to you,
