Obituary of Eileen Digricoli

Eileen Digricoli, age 78 of Whitehouse Station, died at her home on Thursday, May 15, 2014 with her family by her side. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Philip and Ella Steinborn. She was an Elementary School teacher for St Anastasia School in Douglaston, NY. Eileen was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. She was an active member of the Rosary Altar Society and was also a Eucharistic Minister. Eileen and her husband Peter enjoyed many trips with the Readington Seniors. Eileen was a talented seamstress and she enjoyed spending time gardening, reading and swimming. Along with her parents, Eileen was predeceased by her brother, Phillip Edward Steinborn. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Peter; her two daughters, Kathleen Murphy and her husband, James of Branchburg and Jane Cristallo and her husband, Steven of Sammamish, WA; her three sons, Anthony and his wife, Renee of Hillsborough, Peter and his wife, Barbara of Bridgewater and Edward of Whitehouse Station. She is also survived by her 12 cherished grandchildren: Kristen, James, Patrick, Brian, Matthew, Andrew, Tara, Daniel, Amanda, Michael, Christopher and Ryan. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, NJ.
