I have had the great fortune of coming to know the Serrao family, working with their exceptionally gifted and kind children, Chris and Danielle. Their character is testament to the guidance, trust, love, and support they have received and enjoyed from their parents, and share as a family. Mr. Serrao embodied love of life and family, discovering and exploring the world together.
Mrs. Serrao, Danielle and Chris… your grief is unfathomable. We mourn your father, husband, and the inspiring friend to many. We find solace with you knowing too that he is bathed in perpetual light. May his love and devotion hearten and lift you always!

We were shocked to hear the sad demise of our Cousin Brother, Dominic Serrao.
We all shared our memories as in school or other wise when we met.
His kind gestures and Smile will always be missed.
A loving and kind heart has left us to his Heavenly Abode .
The volume in our hearts for you will never be replaced dear Brother.
After moving to the USA, he visited our place in Bombay, in the month of November 2019 and clicked some pictures, to take some memories along with him, it was a time for bonding with our families which he wanted to cherish.
Dominic has left some beautiful memories which we will always remember.
May the good Lord give strength and courage to his family, Matilda, Danielle and Christopher.
Eternal Rest Grant unto him Oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him, May his soul rest in peace.
Condolences from,

I’ve worked with Dominic for over 12 years, spanning back to the BusinessEdge team. He was an incredibly smart and innovative leader, who constantly pushed his colleagues to be better. I can personally say with confidence that I would not be where I am in my career today without his guidance and leadership. He had a great sense of humor and creativity, and some of my fondest memories are team dinners where we all shared drinks, stories, and laughs. He will be terribly missed by so many at DellEMC, and leaves an aching tear in the fabric of our very close knit team. Above all else, he was incredibly proud of his family. He took such joy in being a father. My deepest condolences to Matilda, Danielle, Christopher, and his entire family. This is such a tremendous loss, and I am so very sorry.

I've known and worked with Dominic for almost 15 years. For the latter half of that time he was my leader and we worked especially closely over the last year and a half. He was a brilliant man always striving for the best while also expecting it of those around him. He knew how to maintain a team of people who could work well both together and with him to better the department and better the company.
Dominic knew I was a musician and would tell me about Danielle's singing. He was so excited for Christopher when he won the spelling bee. I could tell how proud he was of his children and how happy they made him.
Dominic will be very sorely missed by many, many people at DellEMC. My deepest condolences to his beautiful family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers for a long time to come.

Although I didn't personally know Dominic, I feel I know something of him through listening to the beautiful music I heard, sung by his daughter Danielle at several Canal Music Studio recitals in recent years. He must have had artistry and joy in his life because it was clearly passed on to his daughter and is expressed beautifully, and I suppose that's what life is about after all. Sincere condolences to all of you, from the Croce family of Lambertville NJ, (Alexandra, Steve, Susan, Jake and Erin)

Want to pen this small poem....
I am not gone !!! By Injete Chesoni
I am not gone.
I remain here beside you,
Just in a different form.
Look for me in your heart
and there you will find me ,
in our Love which forever lives on.
In those moments when you feel alone,
Look for me in your thoughts
and there you will find me
in sweet memories that burn strong.
Every time a tear
Forms in your beautiful eyes,
Look up to the heavens
And there you will see me
Smiling down from God's Glorious Skies !!!!

Extremely shocked and saddened to hear this news.
I met Dominic when we joined a small software firm back in the early 90's in Bombay as new recruits right out of school. Here was this guy with an apparently serious demeanor and kept to himself for the first few weeks. However, for some reason we connected instantly. In a matter of time he would reveal himself to be the very opposite i.e. endlessly cheerful, witty with a ready sense of humor. Apart from being an excellent programmer, he had a passion for writing. He would write these interesting articles in the local mid-day newspaper covering a wide range of topics. I admired his way with words, and I can recall discussing his work over many hours spent in coffee shops. Over the course of a year we developed a great friendship. Very soon we both found ourselves moving to the US and stayed connected. I can fondly reminisce about our trip to Wimbledon, exploring various NJ restaurants and dessert spots with my wife Bobby and Matilda, and the thanksgiving dinners with our kids.
Dominic, we will forever cherish the joy you brought us over the years. Your faith, kindness, wit, humor, and laughter will always be remembered with love. Our thoughts and prayers are with Matilda, Danielle, and Christopher, knowing well that you will be watching over their shoulders as they navigate through all their endeavors. It is a travesty that you left us far too early. This sudden loss is too huge to translate into words. I hope the angels are taking good care of you.
R.I.P my dear friend.

Dominic was an amazingly reverent man. His calmness was so appreciated as we went through the BusinessEdge journey. I am proud to call him a friend and to have worked with him from BusinessEdge into EMC and to Dell. He will be missed by all who knew him as a co-worker and a friend. I am very sorry Rudy for your and your entire family loss.

Even working very distant, as I live in Brazil, so confident on his competence. So trustful job partner. I met him few times and he was always proud about his family, I saw many pictures of good moments in his office.
Really sorry for that. Sure, he will be protecting his family on this new step. For Danielle and Christopher, I would like to warm embrace you. You will become even stronger than you are, so brilliant children. I know that.. I lost my mother when I was 6, and I was able to develop hard defenses.
God will be managing that and taking advantage of his qualities.
