I met Trish 20 years ago in the neighborhood when my children were very young. She was so friendly and easy to talk with. Her boys were growing up and she told me at that time how much she missed little army figurines hanging from the chandelier. I still remember that remark because it helped me really appreciate the fleeting moments motherhood, and I will always be grateful to Trish for our conversation.

If there were only more time.... More time to get to know Trish as well as those lucky individuals whose lives were better because of her. More time to share in those outdoor adventures that she enjoyed so much. More time to become good friends as I know we would have been.
We are forever grateful for the short time we had with Trish. We've experienced what everyone talks about, her charm, her wit and her love.
We hope that our bond with Bob, Matt, Mike and Daniel will continue strong so that we can continue to enjoy those amazing qualities of hers in all of them.
With deepest sympathy,
Gail and Bob Traitz

Dear Sutter Family.
I had the pleasure of working with your father and meeting your wonderful mother a couple of times. The moments, however fleeting, are dear to my heart. I pray the the Comforter is with your family during this very trying time. The most important thing is going to be your faith in Jesus Christ and leaning on each other as a family praying often. I promise to pray for your amazing mother and wife. May she be welcomed into the kingdom of heaven and hear those precious words that we all long to hear after our last heartbeat on earth, "Well done my good and faithful servant. Enter the Kingdom I have prepared for you"!
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow if death I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; They rod and thy staff, they comfort me ." Psalms 23:4
Much love and respect.

Trish and I were a team for a number of years before we learned that the reason were were always asisigned to teach juniors was because no one else wanted to teach the dreaded junior research paper. Our reward was that we also taught the Romantic poets which we both loved. One of our favorites was “ The Daffodils” by William Wordsworth which begins “ I wandered lonely as a cloud when all at once I saw a crowd, a host, of golden daffodils...” I will always think of Trish amongst the daffodils. She left us too soon.

It's hard to sum up all the wonderful memories in one short tribute. Trish was one of my childhood friends and an especially close friend and confidante in high school. We shared so many experiences together, including attendance at a "Scared Straight" session at Rahway Prison! (We were reporters, not teens at risk!) Trish was my Maid of Honor and Godmother to my son Victor. We celebrated both of our 50th birthdays together, laughing, eating, and drinking. We both hoped to spend much more time with each other once our kids grew up and our lives settled down, but sadly that didn't happen. In the past six months she visited me in my dreams several times, and I believe she really was there with me.
Trish, I miss you. Thanks for the memories, my friend.
To Bob, Matthew, Michael, Daniel, Ray, Cathleen, and all of Trish's family and loved ones--I will hold you close in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you (and all of us) could have had her in your lives longer.

I was privileged to know Trish because God chose us to be members of the same club-mothers of twins. She was such an excellent mother, friend and happy example of how to live a good life. Our boys are close in age, and we shared all the ups and downs. Rest In Peace my friend.

I was so saddened to learn of Trish's passing. I had the great pleasure to work with her in New York. Trish was exceptionally warm and kindhearted. Her love of family and appreciation of friends was always front and center. I particularly enjoyed talking Mets baseball with her, win, or more often, lose.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you - Bob, your sons, all the Sutter and Monahan families and so many friends Trish touched over the years. God bless her, always.

Trish and I shared SAT Prep classes over the years until I retired in 2012. I liked her style. I had the pleasure of teaching two of her sons, who were both pleasures, showing just how wonderful she was. She taught her sons to be scholars and gentlemen. A great tribute to Trish and her husband. She will be missed. My sympathies to the family, but know that you will always have those wonderful memories of her. Cherish them.
